Jamie Ewing
Jamie Ewing is on a mission to change how students learn in classrooms around the world. Driven to engage and give ownership of learning to all learners, Jamie is on a constant crusade to turn our learning environments on their head. He is a National Board Certified STEM educator at the elementary level, with a Master Degree in K-8 Education with a K-8 math endorsement. He also has a fine arts degree in design. Now in his 13th year of teaching, Jamie has been an advocate to bring better, more engaging programs to our inner-city schools. He has taught in Washington, Maryland, and, now, the District of Columbia. As a pioneer with coding in elementary schools, Jamie has been recognized around the world for his unique approach to learning. When not in the classroom, Jamie spends time with his three dogs, home remodeling, and painting in his art studio.
